When Nick's dangerous mission leads him straight to Jack, he sees a chance to climb the famed beanstalk himself. But what Nick doesn't know is that things are different from when Jack made his climb. There are new foes at the top now. Ones with cruel weapons and foul plans plans that could destroy the world as Nick knows it. Will Nick come down the beanstalk a hero? Will he come down at all?
An interesting continuation of the famous tale of “Jack and the Beanstalk.” The story is full of suspense and action. I will admit that there are corners of disappointment and sadness. You kind of forget after you continue to read and meet the interesting characters and learn about what Jack was hiding in his tales. I could not put this book down. When I ate, I read, I even begged my parents to let me stay up late on a school night to finish the next five chapters.
I give this one four top hats.
