I love Emma Chase Romance. She is such a gifted writer. Her heroes and heroines are like no other in the genre. Her books are always fresh and fun. You are guaranteed a lot of laughs and a few tears but above all you are always given a book that you will love, a book you will be completely satisfied with when you finish and a book that will have you hoping for more.
Overruled had me laughing, swooning and crying from beginning to end.
Stanton, although a little selfish and arrogant, I really think he was adorably clueless about what he was doing. He won me over with his Southern drawl and his passion to love. He loved to the point of crazy even if he was a little unconventional about it.
Sophia is AWESOME! I love her! Latinas are often underrepresented in romance and if we get a role in the story, more often then not, we are usually the maid or the nanny. I loved that she was a professional, smart, independent and very passionate about her family, her career and her personal life.
With a cast of unforgettable secondary characters, Legal Briefs promises to be a Must Read series for me! I am already looking forward to Sustained and Appealed!
