I will admit, I am an easy sell when it come to a hot cowboy on the cover….I mean, come on, did you SEE this cover!?!? I was like GIMME, GIMME, GIMME!!
The book starts off with a bang, literally. I don’t know why I wasn’t expecting it especially with that foreshadowing at the beginning but I wasn’t and I was unsure about how we could go up after such a tragic down. Thankfully Linda is a pro and took this tragedy and makes it up with an action packed adventure and the swooniest, sweetest romance ever. Two broken people, brought together by necessity, find protection and companionship in each other. As the story progresses, they gradually fall hopelessly and helplessly in love. It was really a wonderful read.

Watching TV westerns during my youth fed my love of cowboys and the old West and they still do. I reside in the Texas Panhandle on land the American Indian and Comancheros once roamed.
