Meet the Kincade brothers: they’ll do what it takes to protect their legacy—but what happens when love gets in the way?

Hockey star Jordan Kincade wasted no time ditching Sunshine Valley and everyone who mattered for a career in the NHL—a truth Jordan confronts when his parents’ deaths bring him home. Now he’s back to make amends, which begins with keeping his younger sister from flunking out of school. It’s just his luck that the one person who can help is the girl whose heart he broke years ago.

Lucy Diamond has racked up a number of monumental mistakes in her life, the first involving a certain blue-eyed charmer. She has no intention of falling for Jordan Kincade again, but when he shows up asking her to help one of her students, Lucy just can’t say no. Worse, the longer he’s back, the more she sees how much he’s changed. And so when a blistering kiss turns to more, she can’t help but wonder if her heart will be crushed again . . . or if she’ll discover true love with a better man.

TAKE ME TO Sunshine Creek Vineyard and Introduce me to the Kincade brothers!

I love when I catch a great series at the beginning!!  What I don’t love is the anxiety I have waiting for the others.  But as a reader, that is what we do!  I have been waiting on a book my entire life for a book.

I love covers and Candis Terry has the BEST covers in Contemporary Fiction!  I LOVE THEM!!

OK, on to A Better Man, book one in a new contemporary romance series by one of my favorite writers Candis Terry.  The book was delicious!  Oh the sweet, slow burn…I adored it!

Who doesn’t love a stubborn, passionate, hockey player?  I know I do and what I love more is when even under all that bravado, they really have a good, pure heart. That is our hero Super Hockey Star Jordan Kincade.

Intrigued OK, here is more…

Lucy is really great, a teacher with a heart of gold and a bit of a chip on her shoulder over our hero…he was unkind to her when they were kids.  What I adored about her was how she didn’t let that interfere with her role to his little sister.

Second chance at love, second chance at family and a second chance at making amends made this book so swoony and so sexy!
