“Despite all the things I would have changed about our journey, I’d never want a different destination. It’s always been you.”

How do you pick up the pieces of the past? Can a broken cup be put back together?   The cracks would always be there…would it leak or stay sealed?  When Ethan Holt, Cassie’s ex-boyfriend, the equivalent of a tornado when it comes to emotions blows back into her life, you can’t blame her for taking cover. How can she believe that he is for real this time?

This story was an emotional roller-coaster of feels. As we go from the past to the present, we learn exactly  how Ethan hurt Cassie, how he disappointed her, and at the end of their relationship, we saw how he broke her. You can’t blame her for being cautious.   As you read you become so involved that you hope they can come to some understanding.  You hope that they can find a way to work passed the past and towards a future they both so desperately want. The fear of another broken heart  is what is keeping Cassie from Ethan, not the lack of love.

Ethan has grown so much from the boy we met in Bad Romeo. I always liked him, I just didn’t agree with his brand of crazy.  I love Cassie, so it hurt me so much to see her broken.  It is almost like they have switched places, like Freaky Friday.  Ethan is now the strong one with the level head and is trying to get Cassie to see reason and come back to him.  There were a few parts in the book when I cried because I hurt for them too.

Their journey was heartfelt and emotional. Oh the woes of Juliet and her Romeo!

Do they get their happily ever after or are the doomed to the same fate as the parts that brought them together? Gosh, this is good romance!

A modern romance with heartwarming classic twists. Broken Juliet will leave you completely satisfied and begging for more.

“Yes, I love you. But you have no idea how many times I’ve wished I didn’t.”

“Loving you … is the stupidest, most selfish thing I’ve ever done, but I can’t stop. God knows, I’ve tried.”

“It’s the subtle shudder when you hear the other’s person’s name. The times when you think about their smile and find it impossible to keep a straight face. It’s those small, precious moments you wish they were with you, because nothing means anything until you share it with them. More than a passion and love alone, it’s that internal alchemy that makes them part of you.”

“Everyone wears metaphorical masks during their lives. We all have different faces we show to work colleagues, or friends, or family. Sometimes we wear so many masks, we forget who we are underneath it all, but you have to find the courage to drop all the bullshit and revel your true self.”
