Genres: Austenesque

“He could no longer claim to be Fitzwilliam Darcy of Derbyshire, brother to Georgiana, master of Pemberley. In that moment, he was but a man. A man filled with more frustration than most souls could bear. A man torn asunder by his desperation, his fruitless dreams and desires.”

After Elizabeth Bennet rejects his marriage proposal, Fitzwilliam Darcy finds himself in the most unusual of circumstances. At first believing the extraordinary turn of events has granted him an inexplicable boon, he is eager to put the humiliating proposal behind him.

He soon discovers that he is trapped in the same waking dream with no end in sight and no possible escape. All that he holds dear—his name, his home, his love—remains ever out of reach. How will he find his way back to his normal life? Will one mistake haunt the rest of his days? It will take all of his fortitude to weather the storms of his strange new fate, and all of his courage to grasp the promise of his future.

An utterly unique story that is now becoming synonymous with Beau North. This collaboration between North and West was fantastic! The Many Lives of Fitwilliam Darcy had me laughing, had me sighing and had me completely entranced until the very last page.

It’s a gift when a writer can take our most beloved characters and manage to make us love them more.

Kuddos Ladies, it was AWESOME!

  1. Christina B says:

Hope you get a chance to read it. I just watched the old movie Somewhere in Time with Chris Reeve yesterday… And it made me think of this book too. He would have been a great Darcy for this book–especially the comic scenes!

  2. Beau North says:

    Thank you for hosting us!

  3. Sheila L. Majczan says:

I read this one and also posted a review. Great story.

  4. I’m so looking forward to reading this! I’m in the happy position of owning a copy as my Amazin parcel arrived today!

Poor Darcy!! He does have the unfortunate habit of finding himself in the most undesirable of positions.I can just imagine how incredibly frustrated he must have felt being forced to relive the same day until he learns how to free himself of its constraints.

Hope this book is received well from Austen lovers worldwide!

  5. Christina, I remember that film with Christopher Reeve and really enjoyed it too. It was really sad what happened to him in the prime of his life and then his untimely passing too.

I so want to read this book and though rigt now I’ve got my fingers crossed for luck in the giveaway, it’s already on my Wish List.

  6. Sheila L. Majczan says:

Christina. I have seen that movie at least twice. What a heart breaker it was, though. Tissues, please.
