It’s summer 1993 in Austin. Two young lovers decide to move in together and open a cafe only to be hindered by their own pasts, drugs, and bad guys from New Orleans. Set in Austin, Texas in the early nineties.

You know the old saying “Your past will always come back to haunt you” well that was the case in this entire book. Secrets and dark pasts threaten a young couple as they embark on a new life in Austin, Texas. Being set in the early 1990’s was a treat for me. I love that era and the city of Austin. This book is not as fast paced as you would expect a mystery thriller to be but it did have some interesting and engaging twists and turn of events that had me hooked until the very end. If you like a sexy thriller with lots of local flair, then this book is one you don’t want to miss!
