GAH! Stories like this have me flipping pages scared to death about what may happen next! I am not really a big suspense reader because I suffer from what I call book anxiety…really, I freak out when things start to get crazy in my books. I have to stop, decompress, stick the book in the freezer, etc…So I tend to stick to happy, predicable romance. That being said, I have loved K.A. Tucker since Ten Tiny Breaths so when she has a new book out, I as a faithful follower will read it. She of course has never disappointed me….EVER!
I love Luke Boone! He is my favorite type of male lead. Confident, arrogant, devastatingly handsome! I am a sucker for those flawed bad boys and their hearts of gold.
Clara was a good believable heroine. I wanted to cry for her and her struggle. Knowing that she was lying through her teeth all the while fighting her feelings made me have to put the book in the freezer a few times.
I love forbidden romance! The chemistry between these two was hot! The slow build up and the fast burn made this an enticing read. Perfectly paced and expertly executed, Tucker gives us another addictive story with mind blowing twists and heart-wrenching turns that leave us with our jaws dropped and begging for more.
Becoming Rain is my new favorite K.A. Tucker book!
