I love Young Adult Literature. Who doesn’t remember the innocence of their youth, their first kiss, their first love? All of these themes live in between the pages of YA Literature. These are coming of age stories, stories of hope, courage and life. It is my favorite of all genres. Which is why I am a YA Librarian. There is a lot of dark in YA these days, it is a true sign of the times, this list is a compilation of both the dark and the light. I think it is important as parents that we know what our teens are reading.
