Elizabeth Bennet never imagined her own parents would force her to marry a virtual stranger.

But when Mrs. Bennet accuses Fitzwilliam Darcy of compromising her daughter, that is exactly the outcome. Trapped in a seemingly loveless marriage and far from home, she grows suspicious of her new husband’s heart and further, suspects he is hiding a great secret. Is there even a chance at love given the happenstance of their hasty marriage?

Honestly…I would love to “Suddenly become Mrs. Darcy!”

I am convinced that all Janeites are awesome!  Every time I pick up another Austen Adaption I go in very cautiously, wondering how this writer can make this one different from the rest.  I know that everyone has their own style and spin on things but when I find a book written so well, so very “Austenlike” it makes me very, very happy.

Did I love it? YES!!!  As Pride & Prejudice buffs, we know the plot inside and out, so when a writer gives us a story where as we read, we are so immersed it takes us a little while to realize what exactly we are reading!!  Oh yes!!  It is an adaption!! But it is so good!!!  It really could have happened this way!!!  Oh and I loved it!!

Darcy and Elizabeth were wonderful! Very true to their character.  Even though this story is told in Elizabeth’s POV,  I feel Mr. Darcy loved Elizabeth all along!! (Not A Spoiler, we all know this)  The character development was so right and their journey in discovering the real people behind the facade is beautiful!!!  Thank you Jenetta!!  You did this soooooo right!!! It is a AWESOME ADAPTION!!

5 Very Satisfied Hearts!!
